*MILAN-Basilica di Sant'Ambrogio*
Moi qui suis une grande fan du style Roman en architecture, je dois dire que je me suis littéralement régalée en Italie !!
Aujourd’hui quelques photos de cette basilique aux chapiteaux vraiment magnifiques ! Ce style romano-lombard du 11 et 12ème siècle, lui a été appliqué. Elle fut la première basilique de Milan, fondée en 379 par l’évêque Ambroise, qui est le Saint Patron de la ville de Milan.
Deux campaniles encadrent la façade. Ici, photo de celui de gauche, la Torre dei Canonici datant du 12ème siècle.
I who am a big fan of the Roman style in architecture, I must say that I literally regaled myself in Italy!! Today some pictures of this basilica with really splendid capitals! This style romano-lombard dated on11 and 12th century, was applied to it. It was the first basilica of Milan, founded into 379 by the Ambroise bishop, who is Patron saint of the town of Milan. Two bell-towers frame the frontage. Here, photograph of that which is situated on the left, Torre dei Canonici, dated from the 12th century.
