* CÔME - Duomo*
Côme se situe au bord du lac du même nom. Il est le plus profond (410 m) des lacs lombard. Côme est une importante ville industrielle qui a su aménager son centre historique. La Città Murata est encore en partie entourée d’une muraille du 12ème siècle.
Le chef d’œuvre de cette ville est sans nul doute, le Duomo (cathédrale) remarquable architecture de la renaissance lombarde. Il a fallu quatre siècles pour le construire ! On en a le souffle coupé !
Côme is located at the edge of the lake of the same name. It is deepest (410 m) of the lakes lombard. Côme is an important industrial town which knew to arrange its historical center. Città Murata is still partly surrounded of a wall of the 12th century. The chef d’oeuvre of this city is without any doubt, Duomo (cathedral) remarkable architecture of the rebirth lombarde. It took four centuries to build it! That’s really incredible of beauty.

*Lac Majeur-Santa Caterina del Sasso*
Littéralement agrippé au flanc d’une paroi, l’ermitage de Sainte Catherine, du 12ème siècle) vaut vraiment la peine d’une visite....malgré le long escalier qui y descend ! La remontée est difficile, mais cà muscle ! Nous nous y sommes rendus en fin de journée, et la lumière donnant sur le bâtiment est sublime !
Totalement abandonné, cet ermitage a été sauvé, puis rénové et ouvert au public il y a plusieurs années. Il est construit autour de la grotte où selon la légende, un marchand Alberto da Besozzo s’y serait consacré à la prière pour remercier Dieu de l’avoir sauvé d’un naufrage sur le lac. Ce complexe religieux m’a énormément plu, encore un coup de cœur de la Glob’.
Literally clutched with the side of a wall, the hermitage of Holy Catherine, 12th century) is worth really the sorrow of a visit. Completely given up, it was saved, then renovated and opened with the public several years ago. It is built around the cave where according to the legend, a merchant Alberto da Besozzo would have devoted himself there to the prayer to thank God for having saved him of a shipwreck on the lake. I enormously liked this religious complex !
